Our History
Mendra Sahota, a former restaurateur and culinary trained chef, launched Fast Times Burgers as a pop-up at the West Oakland Farmers Market in June 2022. This venture came about while Sahota was recovering from COVID and reevaluating his career path, and followed many burger trials in his home kitchen. The pop-up quickly proved successful, and within a year, Fast Times Burgers was recognized as the top burger in the SF Bay Area by the SF Chronicle. In May 2024, it was further distinguished as the #3 smash burger in the SF Bay Area out of 30 contenders.
